Change Your World - Pastor Ekpenyong

Rom 5:17TPT “Death once held us in its grip, and by the blunder of one man, death reigned as king over humanity. But now, how much more are we held in the grip of grace and continue reigning as kings in life, enjoying our regal freedom through the gift of perfect righteousness in the one and only Jesus, the Messiah.”

God has given you the power and strength of the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ as your LORD and High Priest to change nations and governments around the world.

You are a sign and wonder to the world and as you continue to lean hard on your perfect righteousness they will not be able to contain you because of the Greater One at work in you.

When you cross through rough spots you will not buckle but you will ride through as a more-than-conqueror.

Satan throws darts of discouragement at you to stop you from acting on the word and exercising your perfect righteousness in Christ Jesus.

Satan knows that these are dangerous spiritual weapons in your hands, so he is constantly trying to stop their effectiveness.

Righteousness means right standing with God as His image; with the devil and circumstances in dominion and authority.

Therefore stand in the confidence of your right standing and fulfill your possibilities in Christ.

The Nonsense of The Gospel - Pastor Ekpenyong

1 Corinthians 1:21GW “The world with its wisdom was unable to recognize God in terms of his own wisdom. So God decided to use the nonsense of the Good News we speak to save those who believe”

Everything about your life in Christ; your rights, privileges and possibilities are well coded in the word.

The wonderful thing about the word is that it has performing ability imbedded in it to cause whatever is talked about to become. For no word of God is without power or impossible of fulfillment. Halleluyah!

As you listen, you are transformed. This is where there is a difference between motivational speaking and the preaching of the word.

The former requires self-effort, will-power and discipline to accomplish whatever is talked about but the nonsense of the gospel is that as you listen and believe, you are transformed.

In the preaching of the word is the power and wisdom of God all wrapped up in one.

In whatever area you seem to be struggling as regards your inheritance in Christ, spend time in the word until faith rises up in your heart. You will see yourself become what you believe as made available for you in Christ.

God seeks to get the word into you because that is the source of all transformation and change that you desire.

Glory!

Thanking Into Wholeness - Pastor Ekpenyong

Luke 17:19CJB “And to the man from Shomron he said, “Get up, you may go; your trust has saved you.”

The more you’re growing in Christ, the more thankful you’ll be.

The more thankful you are, the more trusting you’ll be. The more trusting you are, the more at peace you’ll be. The more at peace you are, the greater the flow of His grace and glory in your life.

The context of our opening text is the story of the ten lepers who were all cleansed on their way to see the priest at Jesus’ command.

However, only one returned to say thank you.

The implication of cutting his trip to get the priest’s proclamation was that he risked not being integrated back into the society. As it was the Priest’s role to examine them and pronounce them clean.

It was a statement of trust in the One who started the whole process to make good what He began.

‘Thank you’ is a polite way of accepting what has been offered as good and fitting.

Of the ten lepers, only one was totally restored to wholeness because of His trust. Those who acknowledge that which God has done in their lives even though not yet tangible are bound to see the full manifestations.

Glory!

Be Known For Your Faith - Pastor Ekpenyong

Col.1:4amp “For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus [the leaning of your entire human personality on Him in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom and goodness]….”

It’s very wonderful to be known for your faith and not your fears or doubts. Quite unfortunately though, some people are quick to make known their fears and doubts.

Make a decision to be known for your faith in God. What we call the Hebrews 11 “Hall of Faith” is simply men and women who dared trust God; despite, inspite and regardless of their circumstances.

Decide to live your life based on God’s word. It’s way better to be ‘gullible’ than to be ‘hardhearted’.

Choose to be a believer than a doubter. Choose to trust God than to doubt or question His integrity. Choose to take sides with God than to take sides with the devil. Choose to speak God’s report than to speak the devil’s report.

A person of faith never gives up; never stops confessing God’s word, never stops thanking God, never stops praying because he knows his faith never fails regardless of what he sees, hears and feel.

Jesus said in Luke 22:32 “But I have prayed for you that your faith should not fail…”

Glory!
