Divine Agility - Pastor Ekpenyong

Psalm 18:33amp “He makes my feet like hinds' feet [able to stand firmly or make progress on the dangerous heights of testing and trouble]; He sets me securely upon my high places.”

Something that distinguishes the deer from other animals is the precision and speed in its steps as it navigates dangerous heights and paths.

It is the very emblem of mutable intelligence, bouncing ease, of light and bounding gracefulness, which clears every obstacle, and sweeps swiftly over the hills. It also communicates the ease in flight, adaptable gait and that swiftness of advance.

What a contrast that is to the way in which most get through their day's work; the monotony of trivial, constantly recurring doings, the fluctuations in the thermometer of our emotions, the stiff bits of road that we all encounter sooner or later; and, as days go on, the diminishing buoyancy of nature.

However, we are so BLESSED that inspite of the twists and turns of life, there is alacrity in our steps and buoyancy in our spirits that comes from the Gospel of peace.

A divine gladness that perpetually keeps us light hearted so we can live above the vicissitudes and trials of life because we know that we have the victory and that all things are working together for our good.

Glory!

Be Supply Conscious - Pastor Ekpenyong

John 1:16AMP “For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift.”

The busyness of life and its vicissitudes has the propensity to put us constantly under pressure and make us feel grossly inadequate.

However, we have been abundantly provided for and covered on all sides; this is how the believer must view his affairs.

For many, they are burdened by the demands of life; bills, debts, obligations and so on when they should be free because of the supplies He so abundantly provides.

The law was all about demand but in Christ it’s all about supply.

Our opening text says we were all supplied with one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift heaped upon gift.

For God is willing and able to grant unto you every blessing in abundance, so that richly enjoying all abundance at all times, you may have ample means for all good works. Halleluyah!

The LORD being our Shepherd guarantees that we do not want for money, opportunities, sleep, or any good thing. Glory!

Think Of Jesus - Pastor Ekpenyong

Hebrews 12:3amp “Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself [reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds.”

The beautiful thing about our walk of faith is that you are never alone in your quest no matter how long you’ve been there.

You must understand that you will be misunderstood and ridiculed when you choose to live by faith because the world is sense-ruled and hence considers your acts of faith as insane.

For example how do you think those in Abraham and Sarah’s day reacted to them when they changed their names in response to the promise that they will have children as numerous as the sand on the seashore?

Jesus patiently endured and according to the Greek rendering of that word, it means to stay under. He persevered under the intense pressure of ridicule and shame and was neither discouraged nor did He ever quit. Halleluyah!

It is therefore nothing new to be ridiculed because you believe and are acting on what God said to you that doesn’t make sense to anybody else.

Don’t get discouraged nor quit.

Glory!

I Am The Resurrection And The Life - Pastor Ekpenyong

John 11:25 Weymouth “"I am the Resurrection and the Life," said Jesus; "he who believes in me, even if he has died, he shall live.”

There is a dimension of life and living in Christ that does not know any disadvantages or recognize neither failure nor death. This is the level to which He beckons us where we glory in weakness because His strength manifests in our weakness.

At this level, you recognize that He is the resurrection and life on your behalf for any dead or challenging issue. This conditioning removes you from the lane of those waiting for the sweet by and by.

Jesus said in our opening text, ‘even if he has died, he shall live.’ Halleluyah!

This is beyond living life subject to circumstances or the devil. It is the real deal.

We have moved from the dimension of focusing on apparent handicaps and limitations that cause us to complain and regret to the point of appreciating the Resurrection and Life.

Be bold to declare who you are and what is yours in Christ despite the contradicting circumstances for to speak anything else is to lie to and deceive yourself.

He is alive in you and sufficient for you because His ability and resources are at work in you all the days of your life.

Glory!
