Renewed Imagination - Pastor Ekpenyong

2 Corinthians 5:7wuest “For through faith we are ordering our manner of life, not by something seen.”
Imagination is the ability to see something with our minds that we cannot see with our physical eyes.

Most of us don’t realize how much we use our imagination; you really could never function without it.

You can’t see anything happen or do anything without your imagination.

However, for the most, their imagination is wild and vain; this is one reason it behooves of you to renew your mind, just as you train an animal brought from the wild.

As a believer, your imagination should paint such a real picture that you live by what the Word says more than what you can see with your physical eyes. Halleluyah!

You need to meditate on the word of God until you can see yourself the way God sees you and do the things He said you can and should do.

You are dethroning those thoughts that are not consistent with your recreated status in Christ.

Stop limiting God and yourself by engaging your imagination in the right and positive way.

Glory!

Do Your Job as Unto The Lord - Pastor Ekpenyong

Ecclesiastes 9:10ERV “Every time you find work to do, do it the best you can. In the grave there is no work. There is no thinking, no knowledge, and there is no wisdom. And we are all going to the place of death.”

It is time to take your work to the next level. For it is impossible or almost impossible to succeed at something you do not enjoy.

Some people will tell you that they are just patching with the job at hand whilst not realizing that they are unawares wasting away their golden lives because that’s the activity that absorbs a major portion of our lives.

The secret to satisfaction and fulfillment in our work is not doing what one likes, but liking what one does.

God created man to fellowship and to work. Work being our great platform to display the effect of the rub-off from His presence that is cultivated in fellowship.

Martin Luther King Jr. said, “If a man is called to be a sweeper, he should sweep streets as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well so that all the host of heaven and earth will pause and say, here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.”

Do your work heartily as if God is watching, because He is.

Glory!

Thanksgiving - The Voice of Trust - Pastor Ekpenyong

Phil.4:6 Weymouth “Do not be over-anxious about anything, but by prayer and earnest pleading, together with thanksgiving, let your request be unreservedly made known in the presence of God.”

It is very important and critical that the rules that govern prayer are understood and applied every time you pray because that determines the outcome; for the scriptures have been given to us by God to understand His ways.

Thanksgiving must accompany every form of New Testament prayer and supplication because our requests come from the backdrop of all Jesus has done for us by His death, burial and resurrection.

Thanksgiving implies we trust and have confidence in what Jesus has done for us. That we know that even though experientially we may not be enjoying the benefits of the New Testament, we have become persuaded that it is for us.

Also, thanksgiving, is a proper way to align oneself to the provisions and benefits of our inheritance in Christ.

When you pray and ask our Heavenly Father for anything, you can thank Him in advance because in Christ all the promises of God in Christ are yes and amen.

Create The Reality of Answered Prayer - Pastor Ekpenyong

Mark 11:24amp “For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].”

There is unquantified joy in the heart of believers who know the secret of creating the reality of answered prayers in their lives.

This secret is found in the words that proceeded from the lips of our LORD Jesus which is our opening text that “whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

The key is this; upon asking for whatever you desire in prayer, believe that you have received it. This action must precede the physical manifestation.

A sense-ruled man says I must see before I believe it. No wonder his heightened anxiety and frustration.

However, a man who walks by faith gets answers to his prayers every single time especially when it covers personal issues irrespective of how long because he holds fast to his confession.

Simply by saying ‘I believe I receive’ you are grooming yourself in the spiritual until you become a possessor of what you believed you received.

Glory!
