Remember He Heals You - Pastor Ekpenyong

Psalms 103:3 AMP "Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases."

It is instructive that we are reminded again not to forget another benefit in the LORD.

The LORD heals each one of all our diseases. Hallelujah!

The word heals is from the Hebrew context Rapha which means to mend, physician, to be thoroughly whole, to cure, to make healthful.

He cures us of every possible sickness or disease.

You are The Healed and not The Sick.

1 Peter 2:24 MSG He used his servant body to carry our sins to the Cross so we could be rid of sin, free to live the right way. His wounds became your healing.

Do you think it shocks God each time man discovers a new virus plaguing the human race?

God's power is not bold in the face of a headache and then intimidated by a terminal prognosis.

The more you remember and acknowledge this benefit as all the other benefits the more this is your experience.

Have you seen anyone who doubts the veracity their benefits in their workplace? They accept them and enjoy them.

Therefore, don't judge the veracity of His benefits by the symptoms you're experiencing.

Exercise your faith in this benefit that He heals each one of all your diseases and walk in the fulness of same.

Abandon yourself on the benefits and enjoy health and healing all the days of your life.

Glory!

Do Not Forget - Pastor Ekpenyong

Psalms 103:3SLT "Forgiving to all thine iniquity, healing to all thy diseases."

Human beings are forgetful creatures and the Bible is replete with admonitions to “remember” or in the reverse format “forget not.”

We have a long memory when it comes to our hurts, our sorrows and our burdens, but a very short memory when it comes to recalling just how good the LORD has been to us.

When you repeatedly forget God's benefits for us, they will have no impact in your life and you will end up not being treated well. You will find yourself living your life daily like an ordinary person on the street.

When a person gets a new job, the benefits attached are offered the person from the first day though he is yet to prove himself on the job.

Do not forget God’s forgiveness.

The Bible says He forgives ALL of our iniquities—not just a few.

Some people live their lives daily dwelling on past failures, mistakes, and sins.

A person who dwells on past failures can’t receive all the benefits God has for him because he forgets that God provides forgiveness of sin with no strings attached.

Therefore, he never really lives free from condemnation.

Each time you commit an offence, there is a burden, you know you've done something wrong.

When God forgives you, He lifts that weight off you. Hallelujah!

The more you lay hold of this benefit, the more you will walk in your liberation from sin and the less of this benefit you will need.

He forgives you - no strings attached.

We should detach the strings to our past sins and attach the strings to the truth of His word so that we will always remember that forgiving all your sins is a daily benefit.

Glory!

Working on Your Believing - Pastor Ekpenyong

Mark 7:13 AMP “Thus you are nullifying and making void and of no effect [the authority of] the Word of God through your tradition, which you [in turn] hand on. And many things of this kind you are doing.”

Most people don’t realize their beliefs determine the rest of their life. Therefore, it is important to intentionally determine what you believe.

Sadly, many Christians never let the Bible get in the way of what they believe. Most people depend upon their logic, tradition or experience to formulate beliefs. Few actually take the word of God as the basis of their beliefs.

While there are plenty of man-made traditions that are harmful, there are also God-made traditions that can make His word of no effect.

I’m sure you are shocked that I said “God-made traditions,” you see the Old Testament way of relating to God is not the same as the New Testament way of relating with Him.

The Old Testament was legalistic, performance based while the New Testament is based on what Jesus did; therefore, it has everything to do with you accepting and receiving what He has done on your behalf.

What we believe is a result of our thinking. If we think wrong, we will believe wrong. If our believing is wrong, our confession will be wrong.

However, the Word of God has been given to us to straighten out our thinking!

As you train your mind to believe, defeat tendencies are reversed; everything tends to move out of the arena of the impossible into that of the possible.

Your believing and your talking are like Siamese twins; you say what you believe and you believe what you say.

The Refreshing Honour Brings - Pastor Ekpenyong

Romans 12:10ESV "Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honour."

Honour is an internal attitude of giving respect, courtesy and dignity to others and it is expressed by corresponding actions.

It is also recognizing who a person is without stumbling over who he/she is not.

We must learn to celebrate the God in everyone and stop bothering about their weakness or shortcomings.

This is reason many stumble when it comes to distinguishing between respect and honour.

Respect on the one hand is what people earn. Therefore, it influences how we view them.

Honour on the other hand, is what you give freely as a gift. Therefore, it influences how we treat them.

People are empowered and validated when we acknowledge their value and treat them with honour.

Shame drives people away from community because it marks people as outcasts, unloved, and unvalued.

Honour however, draws people into community because though I know everything about you and I still love and value you.

Honour is the atmosphere in which the people of God become their best. It is very important you discern and receive people in their God-given roles.

Honour truly brings great refreshing to God’s people.

As God’s children, we must learn to choose an attitude of honour at all times.

Spend time meditating on all the scriptures concerning honour.

Start today to honour those closest to you.

Creating Your Thriving Atmosphere - Pastor Ekpenyong

Psalm 1:1-3 ERV
1 Great blessings belong to those who don't listen to evil advice, who don't live like sinners, and who don't join those who make fun of God.
2 Instead, they love the Lord's teachings and think about them day and night.
3 So they grow strong, like a tree planted by a stream— a tree that produces fruit when it should and has leaves that never fall. Everything they do is successful.

A thriving atmosphere is all the circumstances, conditions, or the factors that enable and encourage you to thrive.

Many people today are merely surviving; however, you can thrive and flourish wherever you’re planted on the face of the earth.

You may not be able to do anything about where you’re situated right now on the earth but you have the power to create the atmosphere that allows you to bloom and flourish.

God gives us the key to creating a thriving atmosphere, and that is to ensure our souls prosper.

The prosperity of your soul is a personal responsibility.

While many have somebody to blame for where they are located, the condition of your soul is your responsibility.

A man was once very angry at a Preacher for saying “the outcome of your life is your responsibility.”

While some will reason with that man saying, “how can the preacher make such a grievous statement,” it sounds like good news to me because it means I can make my life as beautiful as I want it to be.

A soul that is prospering causes other areas to thrive as well.

While there are many things tugging your soul and draining faith, hope and love, you should endeavor to constantly refill so that your atmosphere is one that always causes you to thrive.

As your soul is refreshed and restored, good breaks will become your new normal.
