Never Doubt His Love - Pastor Ekpenyong

John 11:3TPT “So his sisters sent a message to Jesus, "Lord, our brother Lazarus, the one you love, is very sick. Please come!”

Is it not disturbing that the moment things go wrong in a person’s life, the first thing he/she doubts is God’s love. They even ask questions like “God, if you say that you love me why are things this way?”

From our opening text scripture, it is very enlightening to see that Martha and Mary in sending for Jesus capitalized on his love for Lazarus their brother who had gotten ill. (“…the one you love so very much is sick.”)

We must learn to develop confidence in the love of God as this is the basis of our faith. For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Halleluyah!

When you capitalize on His love, you will always be at rest and expect nothing short of the best. He did not spare his own Son but gave him for us all.

Therefore, with Jesus, God will surely give us all things.

When you capitalize on His love, the devil is silenced because you will always remind him that all your issues with God is a family affair and since he is not a member of the family he should keep quiet and walk away.

For nothing shall separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our LORD Jesus when He died for us.

Glory!

He's Thinking About You - Pastor Ekpenyong

Isaiah 49:15-16CEV
“The Lord answered, "Could a mother forget a child who nurses at her breast? Could she fail to love an infant who came from her own body? Even if a mother could forget, I will never forget you. A picture of your city is drawn on my hand. You are always in my thoughts!”

Have you ever wondered if God had forgotten you especially because of a nagging and reoccurring condition? No wonder you hear people pray, “Oh God remember me.”

Well the good news is God has never had a cause to forget or needed someone to remind Him about you.

He knows your name, your location, your history, your condition, and every minute detail of your life.

It therefore means that God has a plan and purpose for your life and every detail is being worked out as you follow Him.

Do not let your life be ruled by circumstances rather let it be ruled and regulated by the word; and the word says “He is always thinking about you.”

Refuse to accept the lie of the devil that God has abandoned you to fate; because the Father has worked out all things together for your good and as such, you have to trust Him.

Your best days are here inspite of what your previous experiences have been because you are never forgotten.

Glory!

Rebuild Your World - Pastor Ekpenyong

Isa.58:12NLT "Some of you will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities. Then you will be known as a rebuilder of walls and a restorer of homes."

We have been commissioned by Jesus Christ as our LORD and High Priest to change lives and nations around the world.

On the strength of the Holy Spirit at work in us, we are enabled to rebuild our communities.

You are a sign and wonder to the world and as you continue to lean hard on your being as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and His ambassador, you will continually be a beacon of hope.

You are able to inspire hope, faith and courage in the hearts of those who listen to you and those who observe your lifestyle.

When you cross through rough spots you will transform them to safe havens. Undesirable places become like the garden of Eden.

You are the light and salt of the earth to bring order, preservation and flavor to your world; ensure that wherever you are, you brighten up the people and add value to the place because places don’t make us, we make places. Halleluyah!

Therefore, stand in the confidence of your right standing and fulfill your possibilities in Christ.

Glory!

Your Life Can Be A Continual Feast - Pastor Ekpenyong

Proverbs 15:15TPT “Life is always hard for the poor, but the right attitude can turn it into a party.”
Proverbs 15:15AMP “All the days of the desponding and afflicted are made evil [by anxious thoughts and forebodings], but he who has a glad heart has a continual feast [regardless of circumstances].”
It is awesome to realize that all through God’s word, we were made victors and not victims in this life.

We are not miserable people feeling sorrowful, frustrated, sad, depressed and disappointed; circumstances don’t dictate how we feel. Halleluyah!

When you take control of your feelings and emotions, you will eventually take control of your circumstances.

Take control of your emotions to your own advantage, which is why we cannot wait until circumstances change before we get excited.

Our experiences and future are tied to our joy.

Choose to be joyful for that takes the control of your emotions away from situations and people and puts it within the realm of your control. Halleluyah!

Even though the fig trees have no fruit and no grapes grow on the vines, even though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no grain, even though the sheep all die and the cattle stalls are empty, I will still be joyful and glad, because the Lord God is my Savior.

Glory!
