The Effect of The New Creation - Pastor Ekpenyong

Galatians 6:15-16TPT
“Circumcision doesn’t mean a thing to me. The only thing that really matters is living by the transforming power of this wonderful new creation life.
And all those who live in agreement with this standard will have true peace and God’s delight, for they are the Israel of God.”

It is a fact that though we see with our eyes, we see through our minds; which means that our minds colour our perspective over every matter we ever consider.

It is to this end that we must evaluate what shapes our minds since it determines the scope of our judgment and consequent interpretation.

As a new creation, you must judge your life from the standpoint of the finished work of Christ.

It is so critical that though you have been brought into the newness of life; it is your consciousness that determines your reality.

This new mindset confers on you the experience of mercy and peace every day of your life. So that inspite of the troubles of life, you can be unfazed and free.

Persuade yourself with the word of His grace and order your life by this principle so that you can be taken up in these divine realities and manifest the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

Glory!

Doubly Cursed and Doubly Blessed - Pastor Ekpenyong

Galatians 3:13-14TPT
"Yet, Christ paid the full price to set us free from the curse of the law. He absorbed it completely as he became a curse in our place. For it is written: “Everyone who is hung upon a tree is doubly cursed.”
Jesus, our Messiah, was cursed in our place and in so doing, dissolved the curse from our lives, so that all the blessings of Abraham can be poured out upon even non-Jewish believers. And now God gives us the promise of the wonderful Holy Spirit who lives within us when we believe in him."

Most people don’t realize their beliefs determine the rest of their life. Therefore, it is important to intentionally determine what you believe.

Sadly, many Christians never let the Bible get in the way of what they believe. Most people depend upon their logic, tradition or experience to formulate beliefs. Few actually take the word of God as the basis of their beliefs.

The Old Testament was legalistic, performance-based while the New Testament is based on what Jesus did; therefore, it has everything to do with you accepting and receiving what He has done on your behalf.

What we believe is as a result of our thinking. If we think wrong, we will believe wrong. If our believing is wrong, our confession will be wrong.
However, the Word of God has been given to us to straighten out our thinking!

Christ was doubly cursed so we could be doubly blessed. Hallelujah!

Through Jesus' death on our behalf, we have been reconciled to God through forgiveness of sin and receipt of Christ’s righteousness.

Even more now, through the resurrected Christ who's alive in us, we have the power to overcome sin and live victoriously forever.

As you train your mind to believe, defeat tendencies and effects of the curse are reversed and terminated; everything moves out of the arena of the impossible into that of the possible.

We're partakers of the blessing; irreversibly blessed and forever blessed.

Glory!

Thanksgiving In Assurance - Pastor Ekpenyong

Phillipians 4:6TPT
“Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life.”

It is very important and critical that the rules that govern prayer are understood and applied every time you pray because that determines the outcome; for the scriptures have been given to us by God to understand His ways.

Thanksgiving must accompany every form of New Testament prayer and supplication because our requests come from the precincts of all our Lord Jesus has done for us by His death, burial and resurrection.

Thanksgiving implies we trust and have confidence in what Jesus has done for us. That we know that even though experientially we may not yet be enjoying the benefits of the New Testament, we have become persuaded that it is for us.

Also, thanksgiving, is a proper way to align oneself to the provisions and benefits of our inheritance in Christ.

When you pray and ask our Heavenly Father for anything, you can thank Him in assurance because in Christ all the promises of God in Christ are yes and amen.

Christ Our Resurrection - Pastor Ekpenyong

John 11:25MSG
"You don't have to wait for the End. I am, right now, Resurrection and Life. The one who believes in me, even though he or she dies, will live.

There is a dimension of life and living in Christ that does not know any disadvantages or recognize neither failure nor death. This is the level to which He beckons us where we glory in weakness because His strength manifests in our weakness.

At this level, you recognize that He is the resurrection and life on your behalf for any dead or challenging issue. This conditioning removes you from the lane of those waiting for the sweet by and by.

Jesus said in our opening text, ‘even if he has died, he shall live.’ Halleluyah!

This is beyond living life subject to circumstances or the devil. It is the real deal.

Resurrection is superior to life, for life can be defeated and ended. But resurrection overcomes.

Life is the power to exist, but resurrection is the power to conquer all, even death itself.

We have moved from the dimension of focusing on apparent handicaps and limitations that cause us to complain and regret to the point of appreciating the Resurrection and Life.

Be bold to declare who you are and what is yours in Christ despite the contradicting circumstances for to speak anything else is to lie to and deceive yourself.

He is alive in you and sufficient for you because His ability and resources are at work in you all the days of your life.

We're learning to live in Christ our Life, and also, Christ our Resurrection to conquer all things.

Glory!

Your Victory Costume - Pastor Ekpenyong

1 Corinthians 15:57CEV
“But thank God for letting our Lord Jesus Christ give us the victory!”

As believers in Christ, we are forever victorious and we always win. Your victory status cannot be changed or tampered with by any contrary situation or experience. It is a forever settled fact in Christ beyond the reach of change and decay. Halleluyah!

Praise is our standard clothing as are the fatigues of the military and causes us to be recognized in the spiritual and distinguished in the material world.

In our praise is the enemy’s confusion because the expected response of a weary person is complaint but when praise is the response, they are left confused because they wonder what happened at their best efforts to get the believer down.

In our praise is our overcoming, and this is so because we are celebrating the outcome as a settled matter in our favour.

Your praise as a costume mighty through God will level every mountain, cause every valley to be filled and move the hand of God in your favour.

The New Rule - Pastor Ekpenyong

Galatians 6:15-16CEV
It doesn't matter if you are circumcised or not. All that matters is that you are a new person. If you follow this rule, you will belong to God's true people. God will treat you with undeserved kindness and will bless you with peace.

The revelation of the new creation is the greatest revelation the believer needs to be acquainted with, because it's the unveiling of what our loving Father did to fallen man to bring us into fellowship with Him by the substitutionary death of Jesus on the cross in our place.

Therefore, when you regulate your life by the rule of the new creation, your life becomes distinguished and marked by peace and an underserved kindness that causes the world to marvel.

Isaiah 32:17 The work of righteousness will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.

The way you measure any challenge before you is what determines whether you walk in victory or not. When you measure problems with respect to CHRIST IN YOU, situations will look different.

Giants look big when we measure ourselves by them in the flesh, but when we look at it from CHRIST IN ME perspective; they become just lifts or stair cases to higher levels of glory.

You ought to discipline and indoctrinate yourself by the rule of the new creation else you'll be a victim of the devil and the world.

Rise up in glory to the full stature of your calling as a son of God and manifest the godlife in all your affairs.

Glory!

Hearts Aligned In The Truth - Pastor Ekpenyong

Isaiah 29:13NLT
And so the Lord says, "These people say they are mine. They honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. And their worship of me is  but man-made rules learned by rote.

There is a huge difference between a culture where obedience and compliance are the bottom line and a culture where relationship is the bottom line. The contrast is perhaps seen most clearly when people fall.

It is heart issues that lead to mistakes and until we learn to deal with what is going on inside of us, we simply cannot learn to manage freedom because God, the Father, is less interested in compliance and much more interested in love.

This is the reason that He is trying to prepare us to live absolutely free lives in an environment of unlimited options more than trying to keep us from sin. Halleluyah!

Our responses to circumstances will either be right or wrong, depending on the accuracy of our interpretation. If I try to change my response to circumstances just because I know it is the right response, while continuing to perceive things the same way, I will be in conflict with myself.

Let your heart therefore align with the Father’s perspective and desire so that your response to circumstances will not just be right because it is right to so do but because your interpretation is consistent with the Father’s will.

Our inner conflicts are quickly resolved not because our responses are always right but because our perspective aligns with the Father’s will.
