Mid Course Correction - Pastor Ekpenyong
John 21:3-4TPT "Peter told them, “I’m going fishing.” And they all replied, “We’ll go with you.” So they went out and fished through the night, but caught nothing.
Then at dawn, Jesus was standing there on the shore, but the disciples didn’t realize that it was him!"
I reckon that at some point you may fall into any of these categories of persons and therefore need a mid course correction:
1. Those who have no vision and wonder how to obtain one.
2. Those who have a vision but are stuck in the mud of confusion not knowing what to do next.
3. Those who had a vision but have abandoned it because of discouragement, disillusionment, some measure of failure, or frustration.
The disciples of Jesus, feeling a sense of great loss and confusion were at the place a lot of us are and how we feel even right now.
However, the beautiful thing about mid course correction is that the LORD always is willing and desirous to bring us into alignment with His plans and purposes.
Heed interruptions because great things happen when we do.
Life is full of interruptions. Its hard to have faith in the process and embrace these corrections, but it is important.
JESUS WORKED THROUGH THE INTERRUPTIONS.
I pray that you'll start seeing interruptions as God-filled invitations to do more, be more, pray more, and connect more.
Be open to His mid course correction in every area of your life.
Glory!

Doubly Cursed and Doubly Blessed - Pastor Ekpenyong
Most people don’t realize their beliefs determine the rest of their life. Therefore, it is important to intentionally determine what you believe.
Sadly, many Christians never let the Bible get in the way of what they believe. Most people depend upon their logic, tradition or experience to formulate beliefs. Few actually take the word of God as the basis of their beliefs.
The Old Testament was legalistic, performance-based while the New Testament is based on what Jesus did; therefore, it has everything to do with you accepting and receiving what He has done on your behalf.
What we believe is as a result of our thinking. If we think wrong, we will believe wrong. If our believing is wrong, our confession will be wrong.
However, the Word of God has been given to us to straighten out our thinking!
Christ was doubly cursed so we could be doubly blessed. Hallelujah!
Through Jesus' death on our behalf, we have been reconciled to God through forgiveness of sin and receipt of Christ’s righteousness.
Even more now, through the resurrected Christ who's alive in us, we have the power to overcome sin and live victoriously forever.
As you train your mind to believe, defeat tendencies and effects of the curse are reversed and terminated; everything moves out of the arena of the impossible into that of the possible.
We're partakers of the blessing; irreversibly blessed and forever blessed.
Glory!
