Prayer Collector - Pastor Ekpenyong

Rev 8:3CJB “Another angel came and stood at the altar with a gold incense-bowl, and he was given a large quantity of incense to add to the prayers of all God’s people.”

Have you ever wondered what happens to all the intercessions of the saints? Prayers are constantly being made all over and praise God there will never be a day without prayers for it is part of the priestly ministry of the believer.

Prayer remains often long unanswered. The reasons for the long delay are often far beyond our reach; but in the end they will be found infinitely wise and gracious.

From our opening text, we see that prayer is not lost. It lies on “the gold altar in front of the throne.” For we lay each petition there, as we pray in Jesus name.

Prayer will be answered but in ways, we little thought of.

Though delayed, it will only add to the fullness of the answer, and increase our joy when it comes. And it will come for He is faithful that promised. He cannot deny Himself. Glory!
