Let Your Soul Prosper In Christ - Pastor Ekpenyong

3 John 2 MSG “We're the best of friends, and I pray for good fortune in everything you do, and for your good health — that your everyday affairs prosper, as well as your soul!”

A lot of believers this day think of prosperity as financial buoyancy alone but our text scripture lets us know that it is not just financial increase but all round increase in every aspect of our lives (financial, health, ministry, relationships etc.)

God wants us to prosper in everything we do and in our everyday affairs in proportion with how well our soul is prospering i.e. our spiritual health which depends on our consistent fellowship with the Father.

You should make your fellowship with the Father a matter of priority because that’s how your soul prospers and your success in life is dependent on how well your soul prospers.

Take a good look at your level of progress in life and see how much your soul prospers.

Do you desire a change? The place to start is in the place of fellowship with the Father; spend time in the word, pray in tongues and then follow it up by doing whatever He instructs you to do.

When next someone asks you for the path of success in life, tell them “let your soul prosper in Christ”. Glory!

The Greater One In You - Pastor Ekpenyong

1Cor.3:16amp “Do you not discern and understand that you [the whole church at Corinth] are God's temple (His sanctuary), and that God's Spirit has His permanent dwelling in you [to be at home in you, collectively as a church and also individually]?”

The greatest truth revealed to us in the New Testament is the fact that after the Father has recreated us and made us new creatures by the Holy Spirit, He made our bodies His home. This is what Christianity is all about; that God lives in you and I. Halleluyah!

When this truth takes a hold of your being, you are metamorphosed into a new person because it will affect the way you look at yourself, talk and walk.

It is great to know that He has his permanent residency in me and will never leave me nor forsake me.

Sickness and disease cannot cohabit with Him because He fills the totality of my being; therefore, every symptom is served the quit notice.

I deeply cherish the thought that the Greater One lives in me because it implies that no matter the challenge or who stands against me; the Greater One in me is more.

Glory!

Our Fruit Bearing Gospel - Pastor Ekpenyong

Col 1:6amp “…Indeed, in the whole world [that Gospel] is bearing fruit and still is growing [by its own inherent power], even as it has done among yourselves ever since the day you first heard and came to know and understand the grace of God in truth. [You came to know the grace or undeserved favor of God in reality, deeply and clearly and thoroughly, becoming accurately and intimately acquainted with it.]”

It is both a BLESSING and a responsibility to be a Christian; this is because just as you received the gospel, you are expected to keep the cycle on by sharing what you received.

It’s most wonderful to note that the gospel has inherent power to transform and bear fruit in the lives of those that receive it but the gospel must be communicated by those who have received it for this inherent ability to manifest.

It therefore is our great responsibility to communicate our gospel to a world dying, lost and in despair with a sense of urgency and importance.

The best way to communicate our gospel is by telling what difference it has done in your life and its capacity to change as many as would receive it.

Refuse to be intimidated by the sophistication and flamboyance in the world; it’s all empty without Christ. Therefore, be renewed in your confidence and drive to share this ever-life-changing, fruit-bearing gospel with everyone you come across.

Glory!

Seize Your Gospel-telling Moments - Pastor Ekpenyong

Col 4:5 TLB “Make the most of your chances to tell others the Good News. Be wise in all your contacts with them.”

It is one thing to know that preaching the gospel is our privilege and responsibility; it is another to seize the moments that the LORD ever so presents to share the good news with others.

To be able to seize such moments, you must believe that it is the LORD’s will for you to share the gospel with others and that He has prepared you for the assignment whether you feel so or not.

To seize gospel-telling moments, do not look at the faces of your audience for it is not about their faces but their hearts. Therefore, understand that God’s word has transforming ability in the lives of those that receive it.

As an ambassador of Christ, you ought to conduct your relationship with your unbelieving friends with wisdom, knowing that your actions will work either for or against their reception of the gospel; especially when your lifestyle is not consistent with what you profess.

With this in mind, your walk will have a winning effect upon the world and as such, your influence towards your unbelieving friends will continually grow, for you are His epistle written and read by all men.

Glory!
