Heb.11:11amp “Because
of faith also Sarah herself received physical power to conceive a child, even
when she was long past the age for it, because she considered [God] Who had
given her the promise to be reliable and trustworthy and true to His word.”
We only know who we are and why we are because God tells us what they are. Renewing our minds requires us to learn how to let His words over our lives completely cancel our old beliefs about who we are—even before we see His word manifesting fully in us. This is how we demonstrate confidence in Him.
However, every promise is as viable as the confidence reposed on the character of the person who is making the promise. Our text shows what enabled Mother Sarah’s wonder conception despite her age exemption status by biological and medical standards, which was her consideration and estimation of God who promised as reliable, trustworthy and faithful. Halleluyah!
This estimation of God as the Faithful One who promised is a common denominator all those who receive the promise share.
Your faith should not be on positive or negative circumstances, but on who you know God to be from your history and that of others with Him.
Glory!
