1 Peter 4:10AMP “As each of you has received a gift (a particular spiritual talent, a gracious divine endowment), employ it for one another as [befits] good trustees of God's many-sided grace [faithful stewards of the extremely diverse powers and gifts granted to Christians by unmerited favor].”
A spiritual gift is the result of God’s influence on your heart to serve in a specific way that benefits the body of Christ and humanity.
Every Christian is endowed with at least one spiritual gift, though most of us are multi-gifted.
God’s grace highlights particular areas of strength in each of us to fulfill three purposes and these are:
i. Build up people.
ii. Serve people.
iii. Establish people.
Halleluyah!
The discovery of your gift comes as you serve and experiment as the opportunities present themselves to you.
As good stewards, we have a privilege and responsibility to bring our contributions willingly to the rest of the body, making us become like the one who gives the best gift of all.
Every time you serve and it does not flow as expected, do not give up, try another service opportunity until you get the role that best suits you.
Go the extra mile as a good trustee to develop and polish your gifts so that its deployment and reach will be enlarged and its value appreciated.
Glory!
