He Is The Lord - Pastor Ekpenyong

Revelation 1:8amp "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, says the Lord God, He Who is and Who was and Who is to come, the Almighty (the Ruler of all)".

The Master is One with the ability or power to use, control or dispose of something. He is supreme in authority and the controller.

So when the appellation LORD precedes His declaration as the Beginning and the Ending, He was giving us important information about Himself, which we should literarily apply to our lives and circumstances.

It is your choice to give Him that place in your life where He is the First and the Last.

A place where every voice and opinion is sandwiched in-between what the LORD says; where you are not pressured by people and challenges into taking any step outside of Him.

It is as though you did not hear or see all that the enemy is throwing at you.

The LORD has the last say meaning that you are not allowing the verdict you received from your doctor, boss, people around you, your feelings, your bank balance etc., be the last word for you.

It means consciously making the word of God the last word inspite of the reports of men, the devil and challenges.

You are who the word says you are. You have what the word says you have.

Don’t stop believing it, don’t stop seeing it, just keep saying it out loud.

Glory!

Extravagant Grace - Pastor Ekpenyong

Romans 2:4amp “Or are you [so blind as to] trifle with and presume upon and despise and underestimate the wealth of His kindness and forbearance and long-suffering patience? Are you unmindful or actually ignorant [of the fact] that God's kindness is intended to lead you to repent (to change your mind and inner man to accept God's will)?”

It is quite human to feel deserving when you earn from your labour and resourcefulness and somewhat awkward when you receive gifts on a sustained and continuous basis.

There is the possibility to feel embarrassed and insecure when the gift goes beyond your reasonable comfort level to a level of extravagance because you begin to ask yourself questions like “why me,” “isn’t this too much” etc.

You should have realized by now that God does not hinge His goodness on your faithfulness neither does He turn you down when you call because of your failings.

What we must not forget is that it’s His goodness that leads us to change the way we think and act. We tend to reverse that verse and live our lives thinking that change leads us to His goodness.

You must learn not to reject His goodness and strive to keep yourself positioned under it.

When you receive His grace, you will never disqualify yourself from the inheritance and benefits with which He satiates your soul.

Glory!

I Am Willing And Available - Pastor Ekpenyong

Ezekiel 22:30msg "I looked for someone to stand up for me against all this, to repair the defenses of the city, to take a stand for me and stand in the gap to protect this land so I wouldn't have to destroy it. I couldn't find anyone. Not one.”

God heard the cry of the Israelites and called Moses and said to him “come now therefore and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring my people the children of Israel out of Egypt”.Just like Moses, you are the answer to someone’s prayer.

God has been preparing you all these years for a purpose, your journey and experiences along the way are not coincidental.

The reason you are afraid is because all you see is yourself; your abilities, weakness and challenges.

Change your view and see God’s ability in you.

God needs a channel to reach the world; to preserve humanity in the flood, He found Noah.

To save the world from the extremities of famine, He found Joseph.

To reach the Gentiles with the Gospel, He found Paul.

To save the Jews from Haman’s plot, He found Esther.

God works with those who avail themselves to do His will on earth.

Your willingness and availability sets you off on the path.

Glory!

No Longer A Victim - Pastor Ekpenyong

Psalm 103:4exb "He saves [redeems] my [or your] life from the grave [pit]
and loads [or crowns] me [or you] with love [loyalty] and mercy [compassion]."

Under no circumstance is destruction your portion as a believer.

The dictionary defines destruction as the action or process of causing so much damage to something so that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired.

One thing that seems to be common to most forms of destruction is that they appear to be random and could be called cases of bad luck.

They seem to be things that cannot be pre-empted no matter how much precaution you attempt to make. So they fall into the "it-can-happen-to-anyone" category.

However, He redeems us from destruction. Hallelujah!

To redeem is to ransom, to compensate for the faults or bad aspects of something.

Therefore, in Christ, with the payment of His blood we were redeemed from every possible pattern or occurrence of destruction.

You're no longer a victim subjected to the arrows of destruction thrown by a depraved and deranged devil. Hallelujah!

Whatever happened to you doesn't have to affect you. You don't have to be tainted by it. You don't have to let it destroy you.

Jesus bought back all the chances of destruction happening to you - His blood blotted out all the 'bad luck' and all the 'unavoidable chances.'
