and loads [or crowns] me [or you] with love [loyalty] and mercy [compassion]."
Under no circumstance is destruction your portion as a believer.
The dictionary defines destruction as the action or process of causing so much damage to something so that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired.
One thing that seems to be common to most forms of destruction is that they appear to be random and could be called cases of bad luck.
They seem to be things that cannot be pre-empted no matter how much precaution you attempt to make. So they fall into the "it-can-happen-to-anyone" category.
However, He redeems us from destruction. Hallelujah!
To redeem is to ransom, to compensate for the faults or bad aspects of something.
Therefore, in Christ, with the payment of His blood we were redeemed from every possible pattern or occurrence of destruction.
You're no longer a victim subjected to the arrows of destruction thrown by a depraved and deranged devil. Hallelujah!
Whatever happened to you doesn't have to affect you. You don't have to be tainted by it. You don't have to let it destroy you.
Jesus bought back all the chances of destruction happening to you - His blood blotted out all the 'bad luck' and all the 'unavoidable chances.'
Glory!
