Know Can Do - Pastor Ekpenyong

Job 32:8AMP
But there is [a vital force] a spirit [of intelligence] in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives men understanding.

Wisdom and Maturity are NOT age dependent, though age can be an enabling ground.

However, maturity and wisdom result from the deliberate and accurate deployment of knowledge.

So the question is ARE YOU LIVING BY THE KNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE?

It is very important to live by what you know; first it is a way of proving it to yourself and thereby building convictions about it.

Secondly, in the application of what you know, you increase your capacity to know more and do more.

Thirdly, you increase your circle of influence and ability to help more people.

You rob yourself of love, power and stature that comes from experience because you are not practicing and proving what you know which should be the hallmark of a growing Christian.

Decide today to practice the truth you know and you will be amazed at the unbelievable pace of growth and influence you will experience and manifest.

It is time for you to be and do more for His glory as we extend the boundaries of the Kingdom.

Glory!

When The Pieces Don't Fit - Pastor Ekpenyong

1 Corinthians 2:9 CEV
But it is just as the Scriptures say, "What God has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered our minds!”

The amazing thing about God's plan is that it seems like a big puzzle to us. And a puzzle is not a beautiful picture until you take each piece and connect them together.

If you think you have trouble with following God's plan, imagine Father Abraham who at age 75 was asked to leave his comfort zone to get to a promised land that he will be shown only when he got there.

And yes, he got to the promised land only to meet a famine there.

Genesis 12:10 AMP
Now there was a famine in the (promised) land, and Abram went down into Egypt to live temporarily, for the famine in the (promised) land was oppressive (intense and grievous). (emphasis mine).

After famine struck the land, Abraham took a wrong turn, one that took him away from God's path.

The next problem Abraham encountered in the promised land was family feud between him and Lot his nephew, which caused him to settle for leftover, but God BLESSED him beyond His wildest dream.

God may be requiring of you to take a giant leap by faith, take a step at a time as you watch His plans unfold.

For we live by responding to what God has told us, not by what we see with our eyes.

When we take each piece of the puzzle as God hands it to us and obey what He's telling us to do today, He will take care of tomorrow.

The requirements in following God’s plan irrespective of the time zone you live in are - Faith and Patience and the key is Trust.

When the pieces don't fit, God makes the difference.

Glory!

Develop Your Sense Of Hearing - Pastor Ekpenyong

Matthew 11:15 AMP “He who has ears to hear, let him be listening and let him consider and perceive and comprehend by hearing.”

We're created and fitted with hearing faculties to process the sounds we hear. We have the inner ear and outer ear.

While most are familiar with the outer ear, the inner ear is most crucial as it determines a person's reality.

Faith and fear are realities that people deal with and they come by what a person is hearing. If he's hearing from God, faith comes and if he's hearing from the devil or circumstances, fear comes. Therefore, your hearing is a precursor to what you experience.

Your attitude which involves how you hear and the frequency of hearing which reinforces your reality are the two things that aid the development of good hearing.

One of the most effective ways to improve your hearing is by focusing on God’s Word. You can’t just live on the memory of the word of God; you have to keep hearing it.

Galatians 3:5 NCV “Does God give you the Spirit and work miracles among you because you follow the law? No, he does these things because you heard the Good News and believed it.”
He works miracles in your life because you heard the good news and believed it.

Keep hearing the word of God to possess your inheritance. God’s way of delivering miracles is by preaching.

Keep on hearing the word until you receive the hundred-fold manifestation you desire, because what you hear governs what you see and experience.

The Supplies Of The Spirit - Pastor Ekpenyong

Galatians 3:57amp
Then does He Who supplies you with His marvelous [Holy] Spirit and works powerfully and miraculously among you do so on [the grounds of your doing] what the Law demands, or because of your believing in and adhering to and trusting in and relying on the message that you heard?

The busyness of life and its vicissitudes has the propensity to put us constantly under pressure and make us feel grossly inadequate.

However, we have been abundantly provided for and covered on all sides; this is how the believer must view his affairs.

For many, they are burdened by the demands of life; bills, debts, obligations and so on when they should be free because of the supplies He so abundantly provides.

The law was all about demand but in Christ it’s all about supply.

Our opening text shows us that by the hearing of faith our consciousness of the supplies of the Spirit and the workings of His power is enabled.

For God is willing and able to grant unto you every blessing in abundance, so that richly enjoying all abundance at all times, you may have ample means for all good works. Halleluyah!

The LORD being our Shepherd guarantees that we do not want for money, opportunities, sleep, or any good thing.

Live Your Life - Pastor Ekpenyong

Ephesians 5:15-16CEV
Act like people with good sense and not like fools. These are evil times, so make every minute count.

Your life is a combination of every day, week, month and year until the moment you depart from the earth. It therefore means that you are already living.

As obvious as this is, lots of persons have suspended their lives and are waiting for a special event to kickstart their lives.

Living is your choice, not what was put on you. How you exercise your choice to live daily is entirely up to you.

The success of life is not in how spectacular the events of your life are but in how you conduct yourself in the seeming ordinary days.

It turns out that in a person's lifetime, the ordinary days are way more than the spectacular days. In choosing to take care of the minute details, the whole become more colourful.

Quit regretting about yesterday.
Quit fretting about tomorrow.
Seize today and give it your best because the story of your life is being written in your every moment.

Your life will become relevant and purposeful when you take today serious and pour your all into it.

Glory!

Your Role In The Marketplace - Pastor Ekpenyong

2 Corinthians 10:13 AMP
We, on the other hand, will not boast beyond our legitimate province and proper limit, but will keep within the limits [of our commission which] God has allotted us as our measuring line and which reaches and includes even you.

2 Corinthians 10:13 Weymouth
“We, however, will not exceed due limits in our boasting, but will keep within the limits of the sphere which God has assigned to us as a limit, which reaches even to you.”

Most people are not quite sure what the limit of their sphere is, their area of God-given influence, so they attempt to operate outside their gifting or feel condemned because they’re making a lot of money.

The concept in the minds of so many believers today is that to be used of God, it has to be within the confines of the four walls of a facility housing believers, which is quite erroneous.

That’s the reason many marketplace Christians feel like second-class citizens when compared to people who serve full-time in a church or missionary context.

It is imperative that you realize that it is not only okay to do ministry in the marketplace, but God can explicitly call you and anoint you for it.

Many Christians in the marketplace sense the call of God on their lives and know that their ministry and occupation are somehow connected even though they cannot exactly comprehend how.

This is why there is always a desire to replace the setting from a secular one to a spiritual when what should have been was to see that platform as the LORD’S field.

It does not matter where you find yourself in the marketplace today.
What is important is that you embrace your calling to transform that place by using the power God has made available to you.

Maintain Your Joy - Pastor Ekpenyong

Acts 20:24amp
But none of these things move me, nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

It is important you reach your divine destination in life. However, it is equally important you reach your destination with joy.

Stir up your joy for it is your strength when things aren't going as you thought.

I saw an anonymous quote: "a truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery while on a detour."

Nehemiah said, "Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."

Sing and make melody in your heart unto the LORD that you have been counted worthy of His calling and partnership.

God has prepared a plan for your life, let this hope burst forth within you, releasing a continual joy. Don’t give up in a time of trouble, rather commune with Him at all times.

Days of preparation are never lost time. There may be important lessons or truths that you still need to learn in order to successfully fulfill God’s plan for you. And it takes time to prepare and establish yourself in God’s Word.

So ensure that nothing tampers with your joy as you birth the desires of the Father for you.
