Develop Spiritual Consciousness - Pastor Ekpenyong

1John 4:4 

“Ye are of God, little children and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is the world.”

One word that expresses what God is trying to develop in us is the word CONSCIOUSNESS.

Consciousness means “that which the soul KNOWS.

What you know and have proven, determine the basis of your confidence.

It is not that which you believe, hope for or have an existent faith for but that which the soul rests on; the thing which has become concrete in your life.

The God-inside consciousness grows as you spend time meditating on divine realities and truths especially as revealed in the letters of Paul to the churches.

Until you know beyond every shadow of doubt that in Christ, nothing good is withheld from you.

This means that Christ is the embodiment of all the powers and attributes of God and He is in you; therefore all the powers and attributes of God, all that makes Him God is in you. Hallelujah!

This is the consciousness you need and should cultivate which will put you over satan, his cohorts and the challenges in life you will ever face.

My prayer is that our fellowship with you as believers will bring about a deeper understanding of every blessing which we have in our life in union with Christ.

Some time ago, my husband expressed his concern about not having sufficient T-shirts to wear indoors. Taking it upon myself, I carefully searched through the closet and discovered 7 T-shirts. When I presented them to him, he was genuinely surprised and expressed his gratitude.

This can be likened to our walk of faith. A number of times we feel we do not have the capacity to do certain things or that we do not know the right scripture to declare in a particular situation but that is not always the case.

Everything we need has been deposited in our heart, however, as life happens it seems we forget them. What happened to my husband was that he rarely goes through the closet, he does not wash or organize the closet himself because of his busy schedule so he picks the easiest to find even if it is right from the dryer.

When life’s circumstances push you to a corner, it’s the word that is in your consciousness that you’d easily recall; this is why we need to consistently take inventory of every good thing that is in us in Christ.

How, you may ask; by not treating God’s word to us as common. God’s word is living; there is no such thing like I know it, or I’ve read it before when it comes to spiritual knowledge.

We need to keep reading, listening and meditating; this is how we keep RHEMA at arm’s reach and walk in victory all the days of our lives.

Take seriously the word of truth which we preach; for in them are the words of life, wisdom and revelation of all that we are and have in Christ.

Our Inestimable Heritage - Pastor Ekpenyong

1 Peter 1:4TPT 

We are reborn into a perfect inheritance that can never perish, never be defiled, and never diminish. It is promised and preserved forever in the heavenly realm for you!

It is so wonderful to know that despite the tricks and onslaught of the devil and his cohorts, they cannot do anything about your future.

The second implication of our opening text is that, this inheritance has your name on it because it is kept for you and is available now by faith, and will also be reserved in heaven for us when we pass from death to life.

Don’t ever be deceived into thinking that, somebody faster and smarter than you will take your inheritance as was the case with Jacob and Esau.

Nobody or situation can steal your inheritance away from you for it is reserved for you. Halleluyah!

Another reality about our heritage is that it does not diminish, meaning that it is inexhaustible and incorruptible.

This shows you the extent of our Father’s estimation of you and everything that concerns you.

Our heritage is inestimable that you ought to be overflowing in joy and praise with squared up shoulders and dancing in your steps because God’s estimation of you is higher than any honours you will ever be accorded by men.

Therefore, anytime you find yourself wondering what will become of you and your future; remind yourself that you have an inheritance that is not subject to destruction and decay or litigation because it has been reserved for you exclusively.

Make A People United And Ready - Pastor Ekpenyong

Luke 1:17TPT 

He will go before the Lord as a forerunner, with the same power and anointing as Elijah the prophet. He will be instrumental in turning the hearts of the fathers in tenderness back to their children and the hearts of the disobedient back to the wisdom of their righteous fathers. And he will prepare a united people who are ready for the Lord’s appearing.”

The mandate of Heaven upon us as a generation of believers is to make ready a people whose hearts have been turned to one another.

We will turn the hearts of fathers to their children because there must be a transfer of batons from one generation to the next; the transfer of the revelations of God; their experiences and testimonies.

We are in the season of the greatest spiritual awakenings in the history of mankind. Halleluyah!

I thank God that we are a part of this great move.

Families will be united in Christ and we will see whole communities, cities and nations saved.

The love of God flowing in our hearts like liquid fire is causing divisions to be cemented in such a way that there'll be no questioning or suspicion of intentions or sincerity.

The unpersuadable will be converted into the wisdom of the way of life of the righteous.

Never in the history of mankind has there been such a massive movement of the BLESSING and literal fulfillment of the Word of God.

All this will come to pass instead of a curse upon the earth.

We Are Winning - Pastor Ekpenyong

“The tools of our trade aren't for marketing or manipulation, but they are for demolishing that entire massively corrupt culture.”

A lot of Christians are not convinced that their spiritual weapons are effective against satan, the corrupt culture and wickedness.

This is the reason you find them running from pillar to post looking for solutions in false and ungodly places.

Our weapons of warfare are mighty and effective through God, that is through God they are amplified, made strong and become mighty to tear down strong holds, reasonings and patterns.

As you renew your mind, the word of God in your mouth and the mention of the name of Jesus are so powerful that you would see such dramatic changes.

The devil has been on the prowl trying to get you to lose confidence in the name of Jesus and in the word of God.

But be reassured today that these weapons are so mighty; rise up in the authority of the name of Jesus using the weapons you have in God for that’s the only way you will satisfy yourself that what we are saying to you is true.

Thanksgiving: The Proof of Faith - Pastor Ekpenyong

“Then Jesus said to him, “Stand up and go on your way. You were healed because you believed.”

The more you’re growing in Christ, the more thankful you’ll be.

The more thankful you are, the more trusting you’ll be.

The more trusting you are, the more at peace you’ll be.

The more at peace you are, the greater the flow of His grace and glory in your life.

The context of our opening text is the story of the ten lepers who were all cleansed on their way to see the priest at Jesus’ command.

However, only one returned to say thank you.

The implication of cutting his trip to get the priest’s proclamation was that he risked not being integrated back into the society.

It was a statement of trust in the One who started the whole process to make good what He began.

‘Thank you’ is a polite way of accepting what has been offered as good and fitting.

Of the ten lepers, only one was totally restored to wholeness because of His trust.

Those who acknowledge that which God has done in their lives even though not yet tangible are bound to see the full manifestations.

“Adonai will always guide you; he will satisfy your needs in the desert, he will renew the strength in your limbs; so that you will be like a watered garden, like a spring whose water never fails.”

Oh the blessedness of the life in Christ!

Abba has chosen you in Christ to be a showpiece of His grace and mercy.

A vessel by whom He displays the glories of His love and the benefits of eternal life.

A true ambassador living in the reality of heaven, on an earth that is plagued and ravished by sin, lack and evil.

Amidst all the confusion and uncertainty, you are assured of guidance.

In the face of despair and lack you are living a rich full life with all needs satisfied. Halleluyah!

You are well watered and nourished like the garden of Eden. Bubbling with zest and vitality so that your body is rejuvenated and restored.

Some may be wondering if these descriptions are for the life when we go home to be with Jesus in heaven. No! it’s the life we are living here on earth in Christ.

As you meditate on the scriptures and renew your mind with them, you will find yourself living the full life in Christ.
